Yeah, I just spoke to Dave about this. Officers will need to talk it over with the Team if we're all in agreement. Sounds fun though!

Roja Dat....TDX members are going to be staying in a Huge 4 Bedroom house in Lahina Town. Thanks to our fellow TDX member Brock Da Man. There's only just enough room at the house for all my TDX members. So if your planning to join us in March, you will need to find your own lodging.

I was told that some of you guys are heading to Maui in Feb, because of deployment. Thats cool, but TDX is holding out till March cuz tax return is around that time, and March is a slow month for MRP, so for $25 a head, we can make about 15-20 passes each during the 2 1/2 - 4 hours of "Test and Tune" (That's what I've been told by Mike from MRP).

Oh ya, were also having a Huge BBQ / House Party at the Lahina House. On day one, were planning to stop by Costco near the superferry dock, pick up some grindz and beer, before heading to the Lahina house..... Oahu-Z members that are comming with us to maui in march, are more than welcome to attend the fun. Just get ready to get owned in beer pong!! And if you get too drunk, you can crash over.

Theres alot of planned events for this trip-

-Hiku Road Fun Run
-Haleakala Summit Run
-Friday Night Meet At Zippy's Kahului Maui (Maui's Only Zippy's location!!!)
-Wailers Village
-Maui Ocean Center
-Maui Raceway Park
-Iao needle / Lunch @ Dave's Old House in Wailuku
-Lahina Front Street / Lahina House Party - BBQ

If anyone is intrested here in Oahu Z is intrested in join us, Please PM me.

Mahaloz
--Dave--

Ya, I know ....But the House is Free, so can't beat that! Were planning to drive down to the track early, The track opens at 12:00p.m. but the test and tune starts at 2:30p.m. so It gives our cars a 2 1/2 hour break in the pit area. Also, I'm bringing a cooler full of water and ice just for the cars, and another to hold our drinks to cool down the drivers lol.

were going to stay in maui for 6 days, so were going to hit up the night life in kihei for sure. I'm going to borrow my uncles SUV while were there (he lives in Wailuku) fit all of us in there, and cruise around.

^^^^^ HAHAHA! bro... i know that MRP is kinda far... but as for lahaina being dead? dude... thats party city! trust me... i lived there. but it dont matter to me (and probably the crew) about going track early. we gotta get our cars all set anyways... and we get to chill n check out what maui is bringin.
and we chose our dates in march cause its more chill so we can get more track time in. cause what i heard is feb's date will have a huge event. so good luck on getting any track time at all!!
our date also helps out kamu... since his little "incident"... so it gives him more time to either fix that beast or start workin on a new project monster.
so its up to ya'll Oz... we'd love it if you guys n gals did come up with us... and how sick would it be to see 30-40 OAHU rides up on haleakala?! yes... picture it in your mind... SWEET!!! yes i know. =)

p.s. dave... its not hiku... its hAiku!!!! and i thought our team meet is gonna be at krispy kreme?!!!!! fawk zippys! we have that shiet here!

Sounds like exactly what we did.

Lahaina is off the hook. Front Street get plenty of bars to hang out at.

I would recommend running Haleakala for sunset instead of sunrise. Less people on the road and more parking at the top. It was so good me and the wife ran it twice.

DO NOT RUN ALL OF THE HANA HIGHWAY. Do NOT go past Hana. ****ing road is worse than Tantalus. I put my Evo through hell going to the pools.

Don't forget to hit up Krispy Kreme in Kahului.

What I would suggest to you guys is to rent the track instead of running during TnT. You'll get WAY more runs in, and you'll have the track for yourselves.

Club808 is planning on making another trip over early next year as well... got to run the track with my new ****.

ah nah tony. cheaper if we jus go durin TnT time. i heard how much it cost ya'll as a team to do it your way. ok... unless oZ comes with us... its a waste of cash. like u said... lahaina is full of bars... which me and the team know well of. and if u asked the team what would we prefer to spend cash on... the answer would be the booze! haha. but thanks for the info tony. ya'll should come up same time as us... you know... keep this TDX club808 rivalry fueled? hahaha. jk homie.

whatcha talking about bro we invited you guys to come up with us.

but for us 100 bucks for what 3 hours of racing with only 20 of us was well worth it. it was a closed event and we had a blast. we were already asked to come back. and all the guys that went up to raced had fun and said they wanna do it again. Also don't the Jr dragster run from 2-4 and test and tune from 4-5pm? thats what i heard from the guy that set us up. he said we would be lucky to get in 6-7 runs. but then again we did go durning the busy season. GL up there. i know that a few of us will be back up there sometime around the time you guys go up and then our annual trip in sept again.

I would also do the haleakala at night also it's less crowded at that time.

Wassup **** and Tony!! Were planning the track day on March 21st. The guys a MRP informed me that March is pretty slow. "Test and Tune" that day will be from 2:30ish - 4:30ish. They said for just $25.00, we can get about 15-20 passes for each of our guys in that 2 hour window, the rest of the time, we can enjoy watching the other guys race.

Thanks for the Info Tony, we might do both a Morning Run and Night Run up Haleakala. Were staying there for a total of 6 days, so were going to have ALOT of time on our hands!! Plus we love drinking, might be hung over for a Morning run

We would love to rent the track, but the cost for renting the track is too much. We did consider gathering as many people as we can from both Maui and Oahu to pitch in, so it would lower the track rental cost. But at one of our TDX Meetings, we desided as a team, to forgo the track rental idea, and save the money for other things and just have fun during the "Test and Tune". If we get 20 passes each, Great!!! if we only get 10, It's still great. As long as we get to run, everything is all good. Besides, were going to maui to have fun for a week. MRP is only one planned event, out of many. $25.00 for 15-20 runs each, is good enough for us.....

The road to Hana, I'll make sure to avoid passing Hana without an SUV. Thanks for the info on that. I thought the road was good the whole way, I guess I have to borrow my Uncle's SUV.

Oh ya, if you guys can't make it out this March, did you want us to bring you fellas back any Krispy Kreme's??? Just LMK.

lol, That's in the past bro. Event's since then have changed all that.....Most of the orginal TDX members that did have a problum with 808 are no longer on board, almost 65% of TDX today is new blood. That why we call our self's Version 2.0. TDX is now stronger than ever because of it, and more tight as a ohana. Plus you gotta remember, the President of TDX used to be a Moderator for Club808.
