Trying to find out who can tune one for a good price and who knows what they're doing. Haven't been in Hawaii in a long time and I'm moving back home so I'm trying to find out who can do it. If someone point me to the right direction I'd appreciate it! I want to retune my car when I come home. If you're wondering what I have, I have twin turbo Z with a built motor.

I had my G tuned with utec by at Sonic motorsports in Honolulu. I had them switch from the ss box to utec to accommodate 650 cc injectors and a smaller pulley for my Vortech my stats are in my link.

 

how was thier c/s? any probs with the tuning at all? btw are they good with the utec? cuz im kinda picky when it comes to me taking my car to any shop....

 

Sonic's is probably the best for tuning a VQ via utec in hawaii. There's not a lot to choose from here but they have the most experience, they tuned Mikes 600+ hp monster and Ryans 500+ one. I think they also runed a few big number G35's.

 

cool.... sounds like they're just the guys i need to talk to when i moved back down there if they're puttin out Z's/G's that has similar HP's that im making....

 

unfortunately mike just moved a few weeks ago and Ryan no longer has his Z (He's also in school, so he's here only during semester breaks)

 

The tune was great and the only issue i had was that car was only starting in cold mode. From a cold start it started fine but, after the car was warmed up it was getting too much so i had to give it gas but to compensate and I've notified Seth and I was just waiting till after Christmas to bring my G back. I'll be going by there tomorrow to get that fixed other than that the cars runs great i'd recommend any one to get a tune there. Give me a call when you get a chance.
