like dj kicks said just playing with the camber will give you the clearance you need, unless you want to go really aggressive..but like he said once this job is done, there is no going back unless you get new fenders. but hey if theres a look that your going for, go for it

Dawg... Do I. You can't go wrong with Mike, the man works wonders. I have been waiting in suspense for a few weeks now, this anxiety is starting to get overwhelming, Im doin' it up bigger and better than before, ya just don't know! Well actually, yea ya do, cause I have been in on your TOP SECRET build from the beginning, it is definitely going to be on a whole other level, thats fo damn sure... Alot of original parts and the first in Hawaii for alot of things... Honestly, I have only been impressed with as many Z's as I can count on one hand on this island, but like you said all is G... You just need to slow it down Brutha, you making some stiff competition Don't forget what I mentioned about once all is complete, we are gonna do the damn thing... Hit me up and let me know what's good man...

While we're on the topic, how far can you lower the car before needing to adjust the camber? I saw a company that had their "suggestions" based on different springs, but I'd rather have people's opinions that aren't trying to sell a product.

i'd definitely get a rear camber kit for any drop more then 0.8" and i'd recommend a front for any more then that but the front kit can be pretty expensive and and the front can handle a little extra negative camber. i'm dropped about 1.2 and while i don't have a front kit, i'm out of spec (barely) and would get one if i could afford it right now.

Hey...I need my fenders pulled. *I have a BBK that requires spacers to clear the wheel. I already have a deep offset...19x9.5 +19 19x11 +20, that are already pushed out to the limit. I have a rear camber kit...tires already stretched. The work equip blades aren't curved they touch the calipers before even touching the hub...there is no way around it. I have to use spacers which will push front and rear wheels way past the wheel well. I dont want to get rid of my wheels or the BBK. Looks like fender pull is my only option. I looks as if rear and front has to be done. The first pic is with regular springs. The second and third are with coilovers and camber kit. They are pretty flush as it is...especially the rear sticks out alittle more. The spacers would push them out about an inch or more.
Do you recommend getting the fenders rolled first? or put the spacers and tires on, then get the fenders rolled to accomodate the tires.
Recommend Tech one or sums?

imo tech one did a horrible job on the white z. looks like they just pulled the hell out of the fender. the fender line is gone. looks awkward. i was looking to widen my fender a long time ago. mike at gx suggested making a custom wide body using another stock quarter panel so the fender line wouldn't get lost. pricey but imo the only professional way to do it. similar to this>>>>>>>..

Yeah, that type of mod is hella pricey. But I dont want to do or invest that amount of money when the fenders can just be pulled the right way or pulled all the way. I've seen that same silver Z you posted last year when it was for sell. Yeah, there was alot of body work done to it. Nippon's black Z on the other hand looks sick as it is, yes I agree the fender lines are lost but I guess thats the results of the pull. The white Z could have looked alot better if the wheels are were spaced and deeper dish. I think depending upon the type of wheels, BBKS, mods etc...that will make it work. Nippons Z looks so much different than the white Z but both have fenders pulled. I'm checking with both, Sums and Tech one. I know what mike at GX would suggest but I'm not willling to pay that amount to do this...its more cost affective to just sell the BBK or my Wheels, than to modify the panels into a widebody.....Steve might could give more insight. To much mula $$$$.$$

agreed..... hey silk were you planning to widen/pull your fenders? with your voltex kit i would leave it stock and get some advan rg2. the voltex kit makes the Z look more geared for time attacks. so i think your car would look sick with some type of monoblock wheel and a good bbk like grex. just my humble opinion.

The plan as of right now is to widen/pull the fenders out to accomodate the spaced out wheels to clear the BBK. Dawg...I just can't part with those Equips..or the BBk...so I'm tryna make it work. I've looked at the Voltex kit up down, front the back, side to side. From what I've seen the pulling the fenders wont degrade the lines of the Voltex...it will work.. I hope. I dont want to go through the hassle of looking for new wheels again or selling my BBk. I need stopping power.

oh you got bbk's already cool. equips are timeless. but, the way your car is evolving i would love to see monoblocks on it. damn, i'm so jealous right now. i gotta look at the voltex kit again. are you getting air suspension too?
