Details!
would have loved to pick up today but it started raining so hopefully tomorrow morning will be better, i wish i had a truck and trailer to keep it this clean for the show, but AWESOME job ryan!
at least it gives me a chance to take more pictures! so thats always a plus side and another chance to triple check everything. haha i just got done detailing the keys. boredom ftw!
i should have some free time next week. this week has been a rough week with baseball and detailing. its been wake up at 9am work work work leave home 2pm baseball 3pm home at 8pm work work sleep at 12pm. so im taking off tomorrow joes car friday. baseball sat. fathers day on sunday. so sometime next week. lmk whats a good day for you.
thanks for all the positive feedback guys. ill take some pics tomorrow of the entire car. the sun wasnt out when i got home. but ill shoot some tomorrow before i have to turn it over. sorry for the crappy camera quality. lol
i will say, for the few minutes the sun was shining today when i picked up my car from ryan, i literally was just blinded, the shine and polish was amazing, kinda sad cause now i can clearly see the nightmares of using it as a daily driver, aka wear and tear, but it still looks damn sexy, thanks ryan and hopefully i'll see every1 at the show this weekend!

in other news things are getting pretty busy lots of request. so im soon getting myself an "assistant" to help me with my scheduling. but lmk if you guys know anyone that needs detailing. ill send out pms soon for the guys who where asking for appointments.
The detail experience with my Z was not a good one as verified by other members and friends who saw my Z at the build the track show. If you want more details of my Z's horrific expericence and my recommendations, PM me. I wish not to start any drama on the thread or forum by putting ryans business or ethic dealings with me publically. But I will say this, if you value your car, especially a boosted Z...dont trust your keys with anyone. Not a happy brother right now... have to order some parts tomorrow.

really is this necessary? you dont want to start anything? then dont post on forums.
but since you brought it up and rather than having people talk about it behind closed doors. joe picked me up from my house i drove him to work and i took his car back to my house to clean. drove it home on the drive everything was fine. the car didnt see over 3500rpms. got home open up the engine bay saw bits of pulley. figured it might have been in there because as i recall i remember seeing threads from joe about belt issues. and figured everything was okay. now the first issue when it was time to clean the fender wells and the wheels i noticed that the front lugs were very tight and wouldnt come off the factory tool was actually bending so i didnt want to take responsibility and notified him of that problem. so i did the best i could even though it wasnt up to my standards and i told him i wasnt completely happy with how that part came out. but he needed the car done that day and i was a bit rushed to get it out. now i started up the car to rotate it in the garage and noticed a wierd sound and noticed the teeth of the belt were gone. i called and notified him what had happened and explain i had no idea how it happened but since it was in my hands id be more than happy to pay for whatever had happened. he told me the belts were 160 from ATI and without even looking how much it costed i handed over $100 as the job was $60. so he agreed on that and i "thought" everything was cool. went to his house the next day at 7:30am to deliver his hood prop because i forgot to put it in his car and he needed it for the show. so i think my ethics are completely in line i payed for the damage even though im not even sure if it was my fault but because i felt it was the right thing to do being it happened while it was my hands. even my dad was wondering why i payed for it. so if anyone else has any questions please pm me to talk about it. i think i did what i could to address the problem in the best way possible.

sad to see how you can shake someones hand one day. then come back on forums and blast them another day.

Honestly...I was going back to re edit my post and lighten it up. But sense you really think that was a blast...then still wont let everybody know what happend unless they PM. But most of the OahuZ did see with there own eyes what you did. But they do know you paid me for the damages. Dont post on the forums? How could I let my boys take their car to you knowing how mine turned out and just keep it quiet. That aint cool. Just like you got good comments on this post then you can take the bad ones. My supercharger went in working and came out not. You know what you did and it dosen't take to be a rocket scientist for figure it out. The principle of the matter was..I trusted you with my car not to damage it...especially before the show. But I or nobody should have to go through that, when you car goes in one way, it should come out that way not fok'd up. Shaking your hand one day is one thing but shaking your hand then you damaging my property, dawging it out, then hand it back to me as if I did it...is another. Then expect me to keep it quiet while you may do the same to other guys car. People were all day at the show asking me what happend to my car why is that belt fried...it looks funny, why you missing caps. I was the one embarrased, showing a nonfunctional supercharger with a fried belt...THAT I DIDN'T DO! calm...bro..you have no idea. But I'm not mad though. Again, you paid me for it. fine. You got good comments from the other guys on how good your work was, fine. You also got bad comments for your last job...mine Thats what this forum is about and price of doing business. You got happy ones and unhappy ones...Now its your customers choice to deal with you. Again, I'm not mad...I just can't let guys I know who love thier car, put time and money into it give to someone who may not care as much as they do about their property. These guys can make the choice on there own who they want to deal with. Now I suggest you leave it alone, I didn't go ballistic as a felt to...even though I wanted to. That my Z, my pride and joy you had no right to damage it. Again, ryan I suggest you leave it alone. Continue with our detailing business and Good luck.
really is this necessary? you dont want to start anything? then dont post on forums. we settled the problem i was more than happy to accommodate and set things straight and did all i could? really if you need to say more please talk to me rather than posting it on forums. if i didnt do what i could to set things straight then it would have been fine. but i did take care of the issue and hopefully if your going to tell people that something went wrong then youll tell them that it possibly might not have been my fault and even if that was the case it was in my hands and i accepted responsibility and paid for the problem? if anyone else has questions about this please pm me.

now the question is was the post really necessary though if everything was taken care of? thats all i want to know. i took care of it. if you have a comment on the quality of the work done then id be more than happy to address it. but to come on forums to blast ethics, etc. than thats another issue. thats something that should be dealt with between two people because thats when it becomes more of a personal issue which is why i did take the last post as i did.
oh and I want my rear tailight screw caps and I guess I'll go back to mobile audio concepts and get my lettering redone since you wiped one of the letters away. Again, good luck with you detailing. Let you customers decide. Thank you for paying for it. I'm done.

The car was givin to fine, you took it...You boosted the car/raced it. fried my belts...that would only happen when boosted that high..12PSI. Which I Know cause it only happend with my tuner. I know my car. But you had to try it didn't you.
now i started up the car to rotate it in the garage and noticed a wierd sound and noticed the teeth of the belt were gone.

i called and notified him what had happened and explain i had no idea how it happened but since it was in my hands id be more than happy to pay for whatever had happened.
You didnt call me, I went by the house after work, you didn't say anything about it. you only said, that you could take the tires off because lugs were too tight. You said nothing about the belts until Later that night when I went to pic it up.
he told me the belts were 160 from ATI and without even looking how much it costed i handed over $100 as the job was $60. so he agreed on that and i "thought" everything was cool.
I know how much they are..I've paid for them. Once arriving you knew I was pissed, as were coming out the door you told me you had already ordered them through Kamu...bout how you gonna do that on a Friday night?? I told you I'll order my shiet monday just give me the money...150 for the belt and I'll over night the bieetch.
so i think my ethics are completely in line i payed for the damage even though im not even sure if it was my fault but because i felt it was the right thing to do being it happened while it was my hands.
I believe your ethic was in question when you didn't take care my car as you drove it back. I trusted my property to you as other did. I wanted you to boost it or drive it crazy, I would have given you permission. I didnt. You couldn't help the whine of the supercharger and just had to test it....you did without knowing that the belts were not tight enough for that type of pressure. I wouldnt and didn't do that to my own car. You paid for it cause you knew you should. thanks.
even my dad was wondering why i payed for it. so if anyone else has any questions please pm me to talk about it. i think i did what i could to address the problem in the best way possible.
Maybe its the story you told you dad...and you being his son...go figure.
oh and I want my rear tailight screw caps and I guess I'll go back to mobile audio concepts and get my lettering redone since you wiped one of the letters away. Again, good luck with you detailig. Let you customers decide.
the letter missing i noticed it was missing when it first came in? all i did was use a microfiber to wipe off the dust. tail light screw caps? i have no clue how i would have even touched that? you werent notified of what happened with the supercharger? i called you before you picked it up and asked you if you had any issues with belt slipping. boosted/raced it? i was on a highly patroled road and residentials in a car that wasnt my own? you bringing up if the belt wasnt tighten properly then why would you even drive the car with there being a risk of the belt slipping? if the belt isnt properly tighten over time you just increase the chances of it slipping as it gets looser and looser over time and occasionally needs re tightening? so why would you say you knew there was a chance of it braking. there was no way it could have been taken care of that night if it could have been i would have taken care of it and you wouldnt have know anything had happened. i offered you to fix it at kamus shop and cover the cost of the 1 belt that was fried not "belts". although you denied wanting this done. ive actually done some research and theres no way ONE belt comes out to 160. heres a post that confrims that its no where near what you asked for
https://my350z.com/forum/473320-post4.html
but the money isnt really my issue its the way you came on forums just to bad mouth me when i took care of the issue even though you yourself cant prove for 100% sure that it was my fault. if this was a court case there is a big lack of evidence.
