but the money isnt really my issue its the way you came on forums just to bad mouth me when i took care of the issue even though you yourself cant prove for 100% sure that it was my fault. if this was a court case there is a big lack of evidence.

finally had time to get to this. Some of us do work. Your cheap prices for detailing are appealing but you get what you pay for. I'm used to paying 250.00 for my truck you offered 40.00 I gave you 60 since I felt bad. You offered the same for my Z. I'm not going to knock your work because that is not in question. What is in question is you damaging my car in your possession. First off I'd like to address the missing tailight screw cover that could only come off if pried off by a screw driver. Again, every guy knows his car and knows whats missing and every little detail. I know it was there before bringing the car to you...I always keep my car clean and garaged. Its not a daily driven car, so the wear and tear is minimal. Sheeit like that is small, I replace quickly... but not go to a car show with a car missing caps, parts. That ain't my style. Either you come correct or dont come at all. Which i went back on my motto and came with shreaded belt, non functional supercharger and missing parts.... all because I wanted to participate in something I love to do
As I started wiping the car down, This was pointed out to me by a observer at the show...I didn't even look back there. Nor did I even think to check at your house. I only opened my trunk the next day to set up for the show.

Next thing. An oahuZ memember pointed out that I'm missing one of my letters...again, I know my car and proud of my system. I didn't check at your house that night because I didn't think I needed to. From mine and others who saw it in person saturday...it looked as if you wipe too hard and wiped off one my letters. If you knew it was missing then you should have said something. I don't show BS sheeit at a show. What the hell does this say?
I know it supposed to say mobil audio concepts. I can get more letters..its just the princible.
You say you didn't go about 3500rpm...dude my high stall torque converter is set at 3500rpm. You had ample time, space and road to boost my car before you got to Milliani you had two choices...hit H2 or take the back road from Wheeler to milliani on Kamehameha hwy, the same way I took you. You say heavily patrolled....thats funny..every road is patrolled for that matter but that dosen't stop anyone for boosting thiere cars every now and then. First off you told me over phone if had any belt issues, belts slipping etc. I told you now. You then said that when you opened the hood, there was pieces of my belts all over the place....humm...ya think? Without seeing what you did or opening my hood, I told you that running the 12Psi pulley set-up, the belts had to be tight when boosting to that level (highest PSI). If they werent tight or too loose then that could frey or shred the belts when boosting up to the limits of the supercharger, with that much horsepower everything needs to be perfect and in line. I told you that they were shredded but that was at the Sonics and during a tune...NOT DAILY DRIVING or boosting at a conservative level. New belts were bought, car tuned. I've boosted the car with no belt breakage of teeth being shredded and that was because I didnt go to the limits that the procharger could...I know my car and its not a turbo. You on the other hand don't. Normal daily driving and boosting at proper level would not cause the damage you did...as shown in the pics. Provided are links to other guys who has had this problem with the 12psi pulley set up of belts breaking or shredding because of the added power of the 12psi. There is no issue with 9psi set up...I know since I had both. Again, this only happens when boosted to the limits and during tuning. for you guys who don't know...the ATI procharger has teeth, the vortech dosen't. The belts on a procharger has ribs that fit within the teeth of the pulleys...these pulleys turn, if not properly tighted or too loose or too tight..it can shred under tremendous power an pressure....again that problem isn't with the 6 or 9psi set up. My car went to ryan runinng fine and belt was tight enough for daily driving and boosting to a conservative level. there was no wear and tear on the belts that would suggest it being fried/shredded as it was....I've seen this before at the sonics when my car was tuned and other on the FI forums from guys running the same set up. This verifies the issue that Ryan boosted/race my car, where exactly I dont know but he shredded my belt by boosting the car to its limits. Which it wasn't meant to do unless proper tightning of both belts be done. I slid the belt on at the show for show purposed but took it to leave...the belt is usless so is my procharger as you see in the photos....until receive the other one. See photos and judge for your self. I have other things to do than this crap. Dayum all I wanted was my Z cleaned for the show...thats its. For some reason I'm not overly pissed, maybe because I blame myself for taking it to him, letting him drive it. Nobody forced me, even though that voice in the the back my head said don't do it. But somethimes you want to see the good in people so I trusted and look what I got. Since we did have some history with prior dealings, bearing the hatchet and all...I thought he would take care of my whip....my bad.
This pic shows the type of teeth on the procharger which is different on Vortec which has smooth type pulleys.

This pic shows the smaller belt and how it sets within the groves of the pulleys, if not tightened properly these too can shred at high boost.

as you see, there is no teeth, the belt has been complete shredded. This evidence suggest the car was boosted to the highest level without the belt being prepared for that kind of pressure.

In no way this car could have been driven from AMR (Red Hill) to Mililiani to wheeler like this...20.5 miles one way as ryan suggested it was... nor would I be stupid enough to take it too him knowing this car was in this condition. I've got 3 other cars to drive other than my Z.

Belt comparison: Here is a new belt I have but its the small one. This shows the dimensions and the ribs mentioned before. These ribs set into the teeth of the pulleys. As compared to one taken off the car after giving the car to ryan. You can clearly see the wear and complete disappearance of the ribs. Which I have seen before but only at the tuner (sonics) again, the evidence proves that the car was boosted to that level for it disenegrate as such. Below is a good belt.

comparison:

The Threads below confirms that this happens under high boost to the 12psi level and not due to normal daily driving as he stated that he did.

Beyond a shadow of reasonable doubt, the proponderence of evidence presented indicates to any reasonable person of sound mind and judgement that you did in fact without permission boost my car while driving to that critical level on your way home, therefore shredding the belt. I rest my case and done with this thread. Pictures speak a thousand words. But dont let me stop you guys from using ryan...the price is cheap. Go for it!

i didnt take your tail lights off for any reason its not part of the job? if you show any other pictures of your interior i think it might become evident why there are some missing pieces (cracked trim pieces, not proper fit of cf trim, etc.)? if i wiped so hard then how is it that all the other letters managed to stay on? it looked like it was wiped down before i got there (frayed edges), and you keep mentioning that the possibility that its caused by improper belt tightening. are you saying if your belt was properly tightened this issue wouldn't have happened? im taking this from the gate as a personal assult because theres two ways of doing this. blowing your horn or saying there were some issues but it was taken care of. i went above and beyond to make it right. the missing trim pieces were not my fault. rickys car came in and out with no missing trim pieces along with about 8 other cars ive done to this date. its funny how all of a sudden one car just became a hack job when ive been doing this for almost everyday for a month without a single complaint this is the first time anything has gone wrong. and even though it isnt for sure my fault with the belt tightening or overboosting i still went ahead and paid for the repair which to me is considered MORE than ethical. but you felt like comming on here and blasting me and what i do. i pride myself in what i do its a passion for me not a job. every car i take in i clean as best i can given what i have. anyone can twist a story provide pictures of things but the facts:
1. You said it yourself the belts were not tightened properly. which opens the possibility of failure. the back pulley seems to be in mint condition which makes you say why is it only one belt failed if both belts should have been properly tightened. if one belt wasnt tightened properly as you keep saying then wouldnt you think that perhaps it could fail prematurely were as the rear belt is fine?
2. The tail light screw cover didnt come off by me i dont take off tail lights. i open and close trunks. and thats it.
3. If the sticker came off from me wiping so hard why is it all the other ones are still there? the stickers came in with frayed edges, wiping too hard would have pulled all of them off. the only way it could have come off is if i literally "peeled" if off, and you really think id peel off a sticker from some one thats "paying" me?
4. Why is it you have a known issue with belts breaking and you have the belts improperly tightened at the same time. its just a ticking time bomb in my opinion. like not having a built bottom end on a 500whp twin turbo set up. its happened under low load situations were theres been catastrophic engine failure.

fok..da BS. There is one way to take care of this. We'll talk face to face. No more threads, no more going back and forth. I think this is the best way to settle this man to man. No threats just a conversation. The thread is usless. I'm done but I would like to meet to discuss this further. You good with that?

So... This post is nothing more than a thanks to Joe for providing good information to (myself) and fellow members yet once again, for what was made not only obviously clear but for saving future headaches and hard earned cash. Sorry to hear AND witness what happened Bro, if there is anything that I can do, let me know, you know Im already there. So, thanks Brutha.
