Default engine labor hour question...

would anyone happen to know how many labor hours it would take to rebuild the vq with new rods and pistons... asked seth at sonics and he said he'd have to look it up... but i've been looking and can't find any info on an avg time or avg cost. finally got all my pieces for my TT but now just waiting to see what the final $$$$$ is for install or if it'd be easier / safer to do the rods and pistons now... or blow the thing up after 10k miles... ha. hope not. but if anyone has a clue that would be awesome.

to much. i have the TT's the rods and pistons are another 1000 if i want them. i just want to know how much to install. intstall on the TT's is a 1000. i'd like to do the rods and pistons if i put the TT on. if not i might be selling it and go with the safer SC. but it all depends on the install price for the rods and pistons.

I'm kinda in the same boat. Wanna get forged internals but debating if it would be cost affective labor wise. I know its not gonna be cheap but it might be slightly out of my budget.

Because of this I too am debating a TT or SC.
