WTH is with the cops these days? I don't even speed much now days and I got pulled over for my CLEAR CORNERS of all things! WTF? I've had clear corners on every car I've owned for the past 10 years and I gotta say that's a first.

 

Sorry to hear man.....wrong place at the wrong time I guess? What other cars have you owned? Z's are pretty hard to miss and definitely cop magnets

 

I had 2 turbo eclipses, one with full body kit the other without. The only difference is I live in town now. The Z is stock except for the rims. Maybe theyre just bored or something

Where did you get pulled over at?

 

Are they ticketing you or just pulling you over? They could be using the clear corner as a reason to see if your drunk, have cds in the car or other things. You cant just pull a car over for no reason, so this could be there reason as dumb as it sounds, but it is still illegal.

 

In town. So far just warnings but I mean come on, it was 3 in the afternoon and I'm legally driving speed limit using turn signals and all. Meanwhile at that same moment, all they'd need to do is sit at any intersection on this island and they'd catch at least 3 people barreling through stop lights, and instead they want to pull me over for clear corners. They've effectively killed the car scene here already, I wish they'd focus on the idiots running reds and let us mod our cars in peace.

Just out of curiosity, clear corners on something else besides a 350Z or clear reflectors on a Z?

 

Pretty much any reflector that was originally amber from the factory is considered illegal. So clear corners, amber delete from headlight, clear reflectors on stock bumper, etc.

 

Thats why I roll stealth in my 4Runner when there are too many people out.
