did you grow up driving in the snow? if yes nothing to worry about i know i grew up driving trucks and rwd in the snow, barely used 4wd unless snow was deep as in greater then 2 ft. if no then get a beater and drive that in the snow, do you have significant power mods? if so i would recommend a beater as wel

oh yah also thinner tires not wider for the snow you want them to cut through the snow, wide tires spread the load out too much and makes the tires spin and slip more. i know it dosnt sound right but its the way to do it

Look into getting an engine block heater. Every car/truck up there will have one and parking areas all over the place will have electrical fixtures to plug into. All the Canadian Zs came with a block heater. It doesn’t get cold enough in Vancouver to need it, but I did plug it in a few times. The engine was toasty warm in the morning and cranked over with extra vigor. You will need that vigor to start the engine at -25 degrees.

The Z heater is a dry type that fits in a core hole at the back of the engine, so I not sure if there’s enough room back there to squeeze in to add one. If not there is a ton of other inexpensive options available. Maybe our upper Midwest members can advise.
