Saw a new 350Z being abused
Yesterday evening during the "Blizzard of 03" my girlfriend and I went four wheeling in my old truck. We were cruising through Fairfax and I heard her squeal ,"Look there's a Z like yours !". Damn if she wasn't right, a CS with a woman pushing. This novice ( being polite here) was spinning his tires as fast as they would go while his woman was trying to push.I told my girl to take the wheel of the truck and I jumped out to try and help this clown and his sidekick. The car had eleven-hundred miles on it and he was spinning the tires I know past the reccomended RPM rate until the break-in period is over.It smelled like rubber in a fire.I instructed the rookie that the idea is to not break traction and informed him that this car does not handle at all in a foot of snow.Dude, if you are on this forum, buy yourself a beater and park the 350 during inclement weather. If you don't that car is probably going to be history. Sheeesh.................
No, I pushed him into a parking place and he said he was going to call a tow truck and have it towed home. I said "You know it takes an eye hook that is located under the carpet in the rear, screwed under the front tag to be towed."I also said ,"to make sure it was put up on a flat bed. "He said he knew this because he had already had it towed once.I thought, already had it towed with 1100 miles? Whatever
