Crap, you can almost buy an Astrophysics 6" Refractor scope for that price. That scope competes with the $30,000 Takahashi's(of course there is a 4 year waiting list).

Those pictures are impressive, you basically are buying a telescope that attaches to your camera!

ROFL That looks like an RPG launcher

HOLY CRAP read this

Throwing aside all inhibitions, we've added a 2x extender, which you can see between the back end of the lens and the EOS adapter. This doubles the effective focal length to a 35mm equivalent of 17280mm, yes, there are five digits in that number, which of course is utterly insane.

I could imagine!!! You can clearly read "toyota racing developement" under the TRD logo , I bet you could read the sidewall writing on the tires if it was a side shot. It's like a sniper rifle scope (I've always wanted to use that icon )

i have 10D, 30D and 5D. Looking for some good deal on used 1Ds Mark ii for awhile now. Just like car, you just want more lens (doesn't mean you will use them all, i don't) and upgrade your equipment. Costly hobby.

If I had a lot of money, I'd want an observatory in my house. How much do those things cost? I know Michael Dell has one in his house.
