I wouldn't buy from Ritz, they charge MSRP+. Pick out the model you want then price it out via bizrate. Abe's of Maine has been around a long time and has prices that are practically unbelievable. They've been around for three decades and are highly regarded. http://www.abesofmaine.com/. The other place I like to buy from is www.newegg.com.

 

Dell also sells cameras and have good deals from time to time, most of thier sales are posted on www.bensbargains.net

www.walmart.com always have sweet deals,

 

if you go to cnet.com and know the camera you want. you can search for it on their site and they will show you if it's available from one of their online vendors. also check amazon.com for online stores. again, this is only good if you've narrowed down your choices.

 

if your talking simple digital camera the guys above have some good places, if your looking for DSLR no place better then www.bhphoto.com

dpreview.com is the place to go if you want an expert review on a camera. cnet.com notoriously has lots of anonymous posters who don't really provide insightful information on why a product may suck or be worthwhile. Also a lot of the shadier companies have people posting good things for them to beef up their reps.

 

www.bizrate.com you can compare prices and vendor rating. also cnet.com

 

www.beachcamera.com great prices and decent customer service. i just bought a camera from there. Abes of Maine is another good one that was mentioned.
