I can see a big diff between 4 and 5 when full screen on laptop or printing 8x10

Yea I think I'm going to go with at least a 5.5 or more.

Since I use them as backgrounds and some people may want to print them

Panasonic and Olympus cameras got very high marks in CR for reliabilty. Kodak,casio and vivitars are rated at the bottom.

Definately no surprise that kodak was.

That thing was a POS. Washed out all the time, zoom sucked, couldn't take much abuse and sucked on batteries like the drunken miss usa sucks dick

Yeah 5 MP is enough. That way you zoom in to see details, but the file size isn`t ridiculous either.

Yeah, I think 5 MP is the best to go with. I was just saying, it's pointless to get a 10 MP camera if the camera itself is worthless.

my parents got me the Canon sd700is for xmas....can't wait to open it cause ive heard its a badass compact
