i paid $85 for each coupon and used it towards the purchase of my lens. Plus the rebate from Canon, that's about $280 off the the total price of 24-105 and 10-22. Plus Amazon has a good reputation.
don;t also forget to get some high quality lens filters, more so to protect your investment than anything else. those run for about $85 ea from BH Photo.
i also bought a tripod and a head which set me back another $230 or so.
next up is a flash which will be another $300+.
this hobby is just as expensive as the car hobby.

i think by far my 3 hobbies consisting of Z, photography, ninja zx6r, photography is my favorite. R/C car i gave up many years ago, snowboarding is eh.. actually a new hobbie i just took up is collecting blu ray dvds for my PS3 =D. i gotta save some money if i ever want to by my condo/house
