if you have an AMEX card, there's a coupon on Ebay for 25% off, up to $150, of your purchase from Amazon.

i paid $85 for each coupon and used it towards the purchase of my lens. Plus the rebate from Canon, that's about $280 off the the total price of 24-105 and 10-22. Plus Amazon has a good reputation.

don;t also forget to get some high quality lens filters, more so to protect your investment than anything else. those run for about $85 ea from BH Photo.

i also bought a tripod and a head which set me back another $230 or so.

next up is a flash which will be another $300+.

this hobby is just as expensive as the car hobby.
