The low prices on Google are for the Rebel XT body, no lens. The lens makes it more expensive.

I called up one of the Sears in my area and they have one in stock for $899 He said they do the price match program so I'll stop by later today. Would it be odd if I ask to buy two for my family or is it like one per customer?

 

If you try adding the item to your cart, it won't work. It says that product isn't available for pick up.

I guess you'd want to go during a busy time where the manager doesn't have the time to thoroughly go through a price check.

 

Ok, I just spent this morning trying to buy this at Bestbuy, circuitcity and sears and they all refused
- cc because they don't price match online deals even though it's store pick-up
-best buy because it is a different model
-sears because it is a different model.

I was so worked up on getting this camera and now I hit a brick wall! WTF???

I get " THIS ITEM HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED" when I try to add it to the cart


Also, I called OD on they do not have that camera in stock, at any locations, do I hear bate ans switch!! And before I continue searching for this camera kit, what is the difference between it and the normal "EOS Digital Rebel XT Digital Camera"
