I'm thinking of switching from aperature to lightroom for managing fles, but after edting the file in photoshop for whatever reason, its not allowing me to save my edited file as a jpg.

any ideas what's going on?

 

is it in 8 bit mode? go image>mode>8 bits/channel to save as jpg. if it is in 8 bit i dont know what the problem is.

 

make sure you don't have multiple layers.
