Default My first personal portrait session(s)

Very new to taking pictures of people... I started out in automotive photography so now I'm experimenting in some different fields... C&C welcomed. I would love to get some better insight or some ideas on what to look for when I do this again...

The Fall background is too bright. Needs some more editing.
What kinda of flash are you using for the Fire department?
