Yeah. There's a good amount of detail and colors/texture to the photo. Plus it's an unusual looking creature. Herpes bird FTW!

If you want some tutorials and stuff like that go to this site http://www.photoworkshop.com/canon Its very good and the books are pretty good too. They have them online and they are in a variety of topics, covering composition, lighting, exposure, canon EOS digital photography, Its a site through canon and a line of books its rocks i have learned SOOOOOOOOOO much in just a week try it out. Also a hint on photoshop i learned this program years ago when i started college and i use it every dang day lol. Dont get too carried away cause that will happen as a beginner with the sure amazement of that program take it easy and take little steps.

 

Yeah I tried not to overkill with editing, I mostly just put a border and messed with the exposure a little bit. And thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out

nice stuff j-dogg!!! i just picked up my xti..im waiting for it..if it shows up in warehouse tomorrow..im gonna go pick it up..dun wanna wait any longer!! argh!

also, im gonna get teh 50mm f/1.8 lens..should be fun!!!
