Yes, i got 1st place for my class , i got 63.237, the other guy got 65 sec

Where was that event at?

 

Hutchinson island. or however its spelled. they use the parking lot that the trailers use thats beside the pit lane, the place is at a old track, they dont use it anymore, i guess some people went on the road course when it was closed ( while the track was still open ) and got killed, one car went on it, going one way, someone came on it after and went the other direction, they had a head on type deal, the 4 people in one car got killed, the other driver avoided the crash i guess. thats the story, i heard.

 

i wanted to get on the course and race but its illegal and i dont need to get killed or arrested. people still go on it illegaly but the cops get called.

yeah, that bridge is in savannah and after the bridge we took a right and another right or something like that, the autocross was at an old track, the scca used the parking lot where the trailers used to park and we staged in the pit lane. it was cool, wish the track was open to the public tho.

Is the track by that bridge there still? I know when I used to live in Beaufort, there was an actual track in the SC side right before the bridge. Once in a while the gate will be unlocked and I used to take my FD there ans pretty much have it all for myself. This was back in 2003 though.

the parking lot where we did the event is the parking for the trailers and we lined up in the pit lane and the track straight away and corner is visible from where we were, the track is still shut down tho but still there

 

Looks like Eclipse with Blitz kit on it.

 

yeah it is, a fast and furious eclipse almost replica the interior is different, its got 296 hp to the rear wheels. i watched it get dyno'd.

 

You mean front? Well I guess all wheel depending on the trim...
