I'm new to the DSLR world (Yes, I'm transitioning from Point and Shoot).. just wanted your opinion on this DSLR, if you own one or know of it.. Thanks!

I have heard good things about it. I was looking at the E500 before I bought my Canon 20D. The body felt a little cheap compared to the canon and the only other down fall I could see is the limited amount of lens made for it. It uses the 4/3 system mount lenses. Canon or Nikon will offer more choices for lenses. Check out some reviews on it from www.dpreview.com.

Also if you are looking for some good deals on cameras check out www.bhphoto.com and click on the used equipment button. Often times you can get barely used or factory refurbished equipment cheap.
