Default Alliance Air Show 10/11/08

I know it wasn't my best... I think last year's shots were better than this years. I suffered some minor heat stroke before the Thunderbirds came on... After that I gave up.

Pictures were taken with a Nikon D70s, I used a 70-300 VR Nikon Lens.

I threw it in Apperture priority (A) and opened the apperture all the way up.

I did manage to catch a few shots of the F15 AND F16 in Shutter priority (S), to capture some movement.

Great shots. Did you do alot of cropping, or was the lens long enough?

Thank ya. The lens was long enough, to where the only cropping I did was to center the plane a little. My panning has much improved.

#14 looks fake as hell. so clean. I know is not fake though. I love my Nikon D70S. For an old DSLR in 6. MP it still takes some amazing shots.

Personally, I think #13 is my 'money shot'.
