Talking California Poppies

I drove 3 hours to Landcaster, paid $5 for parking, froze my nut off for NOTHING. The poppies are gone for the season. WTF...it is only the first week of April. Anyhow, get what i can for the trip.









Then took me another 3 1/2 hrs to drive back home.

Yep, definitely a wasted trip...

All four are great. What focal lengths did you shoot them with?

first one using D3 + 14mm f/2.8 and the rest by using 135mm f/2 DC
