i have a canon xs dslr and i just got a kingston class 4 16gb sdhc card. will that card work with my camera or should i exchange it for a class 6 card? sometimes i shoot jpg + raw. i have been doing some research but i could not find a definitive answer.

 

yes, it will work. If all you do is single shots at a time, or only short bursts of continuous shooting (maybe 2 or 3 at a time) you probably won't really notice any difference with the slower write speed.
