Did you do the 3 exposure shots?

You just click the "GENERATE HDR" button then click all 3 exposure shots.

Then click tone mapping button on the left.

Then all you gotta do is mess with the settings.

Here try this website, its not photomatix based but it gives you the foundation and ideas.

www.stuckincustoms.com

^^^^^ That's all you need to know about HDR. He gives an awesome tutorial!

A suggestion to take a picture with more range of color.

New Pics, pics werent the best, but I think I'm getting it! My soon to be 13 year old first project bike. Also took a night shot of my bike after having a few cold ones.

The bike was at night with lil to no lighting, but hey I havent ridden much this season due to shitty weather in NY and havent had a chance to take her out. :-(

I think a tip of the HDR car pics I have seen here so far, accept the black Z at sunset, is that they are taken during mid-day. From the research I have read is that HDR looks best with lots of color and that the best time to shoot with natural light for color outdoors is early morning and late afternoon. Someone correct me if I am explaining this wrong because I am no pro but am really reading/researching alot on the HDR shots. All the pics look good so far and you can only get better from here with practice!

Been reading this and I think this may help out a lot for some people asking questions. It did me.
