I am looking at an SLR camera for my girlfriend. I have been looking at the Canon EOS Rebel Ti and the NIkon N75. Does anyone know much about either of these. Or any suggestions on others? I am looking to spend around $300-$350 retail.

I would go with either the Canon or Nikon. If she end up liking photography she can upgrade along either of those two lines. To chose between the two, I would go with the Canon.
