Default JFranco photography - upgraded camera body. new set C&C

been a little bit since i last posted here. thanks to all the photographers on here that have helped me this last year learning these cameras and this hobby little by little. its a work in progress and i love every second of it. the C&C from the past is what has gotten me to this point for please feel free... to see more pictures check out my flicker at www.flickr.com/photos/j-franco thanks n enjoy.

How do you like the D7000? I'm debating whether to pick one up or just shell out for the D700 and go full frame.

I normally only do automotive stuff, so I'll just critique the last picture. I'd watch your shadow, you can see where it hits the wheel and part of the front lip... you as a photographer don't want to be seen, unless it's intentional. Also, the fence is really distracting growing out of the car like that... you normally don't want any trees, poles, etc growing out of your main subject. I'd also remove the blue highlights from the car... But basically, you definitely need to find a nice location. Keep at it!

well i went from my first slr the 3000 to the 7000 so for me it is night and day. i have never shot w a fx camera so i cant speak on that but i love the 7k. and thanks on the c&c i didnt even notice my shadow! the other stuff i was just so eager to shoot i jumped out the car at a stop sign on my way to work one morning and shot this pic no real thought ahead of time but deff gonna have to take her out for some nice shots w the new camera soon! thanks! what do you shoot with now?

Thanks man. I shoot with a Nikon D90 (which I'll be upgrading very soon). Most of the shots you saw were taken with a Tamron 70-200mm ƒ2.8 (which I'll be upgrading soon as well) and the Golden Gate bridge shot was taken with a Tokina 12-24mm ƒ4.
