La Z en la DITCH (graphic Z pictures sort of)

i realize it's not the best looking car out there but has potential. im more interested in the back seats, trunk, and that n54 engine for power on the cheap.
for the price of a 1M i might as well look for used GTR. or b8 s4...

guess well see tomorrow! you know i keep getting asked at meets and shows where i got that little flap on the rear fender and i tell them its stock. i don't pay much attention to which year or sub model has them. any ideas?!
you have an 07 too which i assume should have them. unless my grand touring is different.

Glade to hear that you where not seriously injured in this accident and that it wasn't any worse. Very unfortunate for the car, but cars can be replaced and people.. well not so easily replaced JK
I am fan of the 1 M and still need to test drive one to see if I like like them as much as everyone else talks about liking them up to be is true I was very close to pulling the trigger on a 335i my self and still want one just not the right timing for me.
If the car is not totaled what will be the plan for looks of the car
Thanks,
Dallin

you're very wise! thanks for shedding knowledge. honestly if they simply pop off ill just give them to you if I don't keep the car.
Mentally I was for the first few days. Now I'm for no obvious reasons.
I realize its just an object that can be replaced. my well-being cannot.
I have yet to drive the 1M but I'm sure it's nothing less than spectacular. I have driven many 135's 335's etc at work and friends/cousins cars stock and modded. I can't help but LOVE the refinement of the cars and the torque on the N54 twin turbo engines when coupled with bolt ons and a simple tune. The N55 single turbo lacks something for my taste.
You will not regret buying one. In fact if I had the chance again I'd buy the 335 coupe or 135 before I bought the Z. I love how raw my Z feels currently and how it sounds and how high it revs, but the other two just beat it in terms of a DD. Back seats, trunk, comfortable seats, refinement, usable power, you name it.
Obviously there are too many variables between what's better and what isn't. For a track car, you can count on me to choose the Z over the bimmers though (M cars not included).
Future mods if I keep the car.. Well, surely a Nismo V3 or possibly a 380rs front bumper. the rest is unknown and confidential

... got a call from the bodyshop just now. got quoted for a rough estimate of $19k to fix including a full repaint.
oh em gee i was not expecting it to be that much. now just waiting for farmers themselves to come and assess the damage.
im starting to miss my car too.

from what it sounds like, yes totaled. the car is only worth about that much minus the mods.
in reality if it is totaled i'd like to remove all the goodies. but, would I need to buy it back to part it out?
bleh. sucks. but gotta keep smiling away :] another obstacle in life i have to hop over.
