Default PhotoShop Question...

Hey everyone,
Ok I know this may sound dumb, but I was wondering if Photoshop was a software program that you have to buy somewhere, for example CompUSA, Best Buy, ect. ect., or if it is downloadable from the net. I see some of the work that people do on here and its something I want to get into and try. If anyone can give me some information on this I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Order it online. Much cheaper. Also, for the $400-500 it will cost you, you might as well spend $800 and get the entire Adobe Creative Suite package that includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and I believe GoLive as well.

Some online stores make it available for download immediately after you purchase it as well. Hope you have broadband internet speeds...

if you want a slightly cheaper solution, try adobe elements 2.0, its a cut-down version of photoshop, and it is more than enough for the beginner to average user...
been using photoshop since version 3... and now its at 8..
