They lost their largest contract. They should be thanking us!

They might not have reached the numbers they were looking for
i just sent a personal enquiry to Cosworth...
I couldn't bare it any longer
...regardless, it couldn't hurt...i'll keep everyone updated if i get a response...prob the same as everything else we've heard but we'll see
you know cosworth helped develop the new VR38 engine for the GTR, and the intake manifolds on a CG imagine someone has done or it look kinda similar to the inlet plenum that they have designed for the 350z. GTR isnt being release for another 19 days or so, cosworth being slow about releasing details of there 350z intake manifold . . . coincidence?
maybe they are caught up in the release or the GTR, too busy etc

Well, I received a response very shortly after I inquired. They're looking to ship the manifolds in the first part of November. The delay has been due to perfecting of the CF end caps. They're not going to produce the CF intake. Performance details will be released just before shipment begins and as we've heard all along, I was assured there would be "no disappointments." Attached to the response was also an image of a prototype in a rev up motor:

The end caps are carbon kevlar, but will be CF in the production model. The front cover will come later on.
Looks like a winner for NA and FI motors alike!
Thanks Cosworth!
