So is the sensor required to make this work also the Zeitronix component $359 or is it provided by ProEFI? If so how much is the ProEFI sensor for Flex fuel?
You got me thinking about it...

Yes Randy, because you have a 48 unit you will need the sensor and their etanol content display that changes the signal from the sensor into a linear analog output that the 48 unit can read. SO thats about 559 total and then you can sell that meth kit, oh and that meth pressure sensor I put in I can credit you for!!
Ok so he need to tune twice, one on pure E85 and a seccond on pump gas, right?
He want to do some research about this before he decides. Is there any good links?
No, you just need to tune it once on pump gas. Then once you activate the flex fuel sensor, fueling changes are automatic.

You're killing me Larry. I am sooo close to giving you the OK. Still thinking about it. You said its safer, so I am reaaaallllly leaning towards your suggestion...Gonna sleep on it.
EDIT...
...Can't sleep. Alright, I'll do it. But you have to help me with pics of the existing meth kit to help me sell it. Then we can go ahead with plan B. Installing E85 Sensor and gauge.

Hmmm...this is good for the North east!!...with the drastic temperature changes and the lack of consistent E85 stations, this would ease alot of concerns...

Generally, because at this point because E-85 is still only slightly less efficient (5-15%) than regular gas, you will need more of it to be able to take advantage of the true benefits. What does this mean...even though you save at the pump in terms of cost, you may need to make more stops to fill up. In my eyes, its like getting a discount for race gas (105 octane).
So to more simply answer your question: bigger injectors...yes, maybe even more pumps...perhaps a twin or triple pump option. Hope this helps.
