Sam, was the APS Extreme fuel system on car #1 modified in any way? Great numbers, can't wait to see the results on 105 and C16.

???

What made you choose the cometic gaskets over HKS gaskets on both cars?

HKS Headgaskets will not fit on that cylinder bore.

Great work GTM!!

Sam, Great work man... Looking like you have built 2 stunners. Exactly what the Z community has grown to expect from GTM. You know we have been waiting to see these #'s.

Also good to see this dispels some of the concerns about the APS Extreme Fuel system. I am looking forward to the CJM twin in-pump fuel system. Glad you trust it and are testing it for everyone on such a killer build.

Now, of course the pressure is on to see what some C18 looks like....
Can't wait.

I know we are all waiting to see what kind of WHP numbers you guys are going to post with C16.. I am willing to bet you will get close to 900 WHP..

nice setups.

the extreme headwork is probably somewhat necessary to maintain good high end power since the stroker kit probably shifts the powerband lower and reducing high rpm efficiency

with a turbo that maintains psi regardless of displacement or exhaust size, I was thinking the 4.24 stroker kit would increase torque by 20-21% overall, though mostly on the low-mid range, while the upper end power would probably increase in power just a little bit without headwork and cams.

IMO this kit would be a disaster on smaller turbos like the JWT TT. It would reach it's peak hp at like 4500-5000 rpms, then DROP like a rock, probably going out of the turbo's efficiency range. IMO you'd want the greddy, APS extreme, SFR, or TN stage 2 kit to maintain a decent powerband to redline or possibly beyond

NA or with a supercharger with the same 10.3:1 CR, I'd think it'd add 20-21% more power of what the stock torque is, so more like 45 tq increase, though again mostly on the low/mid end and you'll need headwork/cams to attempt to maintain a good increase in power in the upper rpms

I'm actually REALLY curious to see this stroker kit rev to 8000 rpms - even with all the headwork and crazy valvetrain, I didn't really think it was likely to be possible without risking damage to the crankshaft or the extra long rods. I was thinking at best you might be able to safely rev it slightly beyond the stock redline which is 7000 rpms on the REV UP engines. 8000 rpms is really really high though... IMO you might be able to do it here and there or in lower gears on occasion, but I still have my doubts about 8000 rpms being the "true" redline that you can take the engine to on a regular basis doing 0-160+mph runs etc

Very impressive work GTM and Sam. Congrats!

My question is this, what drivetrain modifications will be needed or available to hold the type of power expected at 24psi? In other words, what clutch/flywheel combo, driveshaft, axles will hold that sort of power? What else may be needed to put that power to the wheels at least (even if they are spinning through a couple gears).

^_^.... LMFAO...
Give him a break guys... It takes time to make sure everything is smooth as a baby's bottom..

If you don't see the results after 2 weeks, then you have my permission to start throwing 'internet stones'.. LOL.

Good job on the revups, Good to see them finally making power we havent been used to. And this def gets the aw factor. Since your at such a none aggressive position right now with your tuning. I can only imagine if you guys were pushing the block. WOW , you might have some of the nastiest VQs out there. Actually stroked VQs lol.
