Forged Performance: A couple more Greddy TT cars...
Had a chance to tune DirtyDave's built Greddy TT over the weekend. I hope he doesnt mind me sharing this, but he has been running this built engine for about 2 years, but has never actually "pushed" it past 4000rpm at all, since he was leary of the original tune. So he trailered the car down from New York, and we got him some good results, through an APS 2.5 inch true dual exhaust and 15psi, JWT Camshafts.
Second car was Tyler Roberts's who posted a thread on this a few days ago. Here is his Dyno Chart. Basically our Greddy Stage III setup with a couple a few extras. Bone stock block, and 7.7psi.
Both cars were tuned on 93 octane pump gas, and the results, as always are using "ShootOut" mode. A smooth dyno chart, doesnt just look pretty, it's also very healthy/safe on the engine.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Hey Shariff, don't mind posting them at all. I must say for everyone else here on the boards thinking about having any sort of work done, FP is the place to go. Hell I trailered my car 15 hours to have the tune done. The shop setup is amazing, all the guys over there are full of knowledge and very helpful. As Shariff stated with the previous tune i did not have much confidence in "beating" on the car. After his tune the car felt great, ran great, and just overall felt like a whole new car. For all those who talk about the utec having " hiccups " during partial throttle well .... driving around in marietta i just could not find them and you can tell by looking at the smooth power curve( gotta be his magic tuning ). All in all it was a great experience and well worth the 1000 mile drive. There is although one regret I have, and that is that i'm not closer to FP to have all of my work done. Shariff, you definately earned any and all of my future parts purchases and any tuning work I need done. Again, thanks for the great tune and FP FTMFW !!!

I remmber the days of Sharif trying to school me that shootout mode was only for flywheel HP.
Do u dyno all cars at a specific tyre pressure too? I think 42psi is recommended by DD.

I know you and I have had dyno debates in the past, I dont want this thread to go off topic, so if you need some clarifcation, just PM me.
In regards to tire pressure, we use 35psi across the board, since most tires are already inflated pretty close to these levels. DD does recommend higher pressure, but it does not effect the numbers in a meaningful way. They actually suggest that we strap the car down tightly, then inflate the tires to about 40-50psi in order to really bite into the rollers.
