You "straight line racing" boys are silly .

And here I was thinking that these Z's were sports cars.

I know you can handle the curves, but dont think straight line driving is easy. Any of the top drag guys would knock off .5 off your time in only 1320feet

I could make this years zdayz very depressing for all y'all...

Jeremy, I'll be leaving the car with you for a week while I'm in the Cayman's.

How does a custom 3" exhaust, open dumps and a c16 tune sound? Sounds like easy 10's on "very low boost!"

Oh, and these 275/60/15's follow me everywhere!

Don't be too sure, I can drag race with the best of them, done quite a bit of it, but choose not to.
Sory, but in comparison to real road course driving......drag racing = pretty easy.
Sory, but I just do not see it too be all that challenging or fun. But I guess I can see why you guys all like it though. Why don't you guys buy a more drag friendly car and leave the Z's and other sports cars for people who will use them for what they were made for.....actually DRIVING them.

I never understood why alot of Z's guys are crazy about the drag strip when driving a Z.... makes no sense, its not the right car for the job, if you like the strip so much get a knotch back save a chit load of money and run tens with ease.....

And its not about running tens... Its about running tens in a Z!

My point is, you take a knotch back Shell only in good shape pick it up for 2-3 grand, get a crate motor, build it up and some boost or spray... max 15grand including cost of the car that will be fast as hell.... It takes alot of money when trying with a Z.

I did it for under 30K!

Actually, I have 28K invested in my car and mods and to compare it to a knotch back is...

True, hey a mustang will always be a rustang.

I dumped so much cash into my Z because I wanted a top-end highway montser, however it will still do good at the strip.

+1 on racing for a return....gotta make the money back some how
