Hey Jon,
I know you were a bit hesitant to ship your car to FL, but I'm sure you're very happy now or soon will be once you get the car knowing the results.
Let me know how it works out.
Congrats!

Thanks man!

There's a few more things I'm planning to get done over the summer. You'll be the first I call to help me out.

Trust me, I loved the 530's. I still think JWT is the best kit out there for non-built motors.

Question for Audible Mayhem, isn't running 600cc injectors at 590rwhp close to maxing out the injector duty cycle?

Thank you.

If anything happened 1.5 years later and thousands of miles, I would have to say that it would be either starvation of oil or a major overboosting issue. I would like to see what the cause of the engine failure would be.

The owner of the car posted up about having boost control issues and told me it was overboosting like crazy when he had some other electical issues. If there is anything I can help him out with, please contact me. Thanks.

i think he is parting it out.. i don't think he wants the headace of a tear down.. from what he described to me it sounds like oil starvation, but he said the car wasn't leaking any oil and oil was still in the motor.. oh and he wasn't boosting at the time it went

Well we all know that the oil would have to go somewhere. The question is where? I would like to know some more details on it.

He only had about 5K miles on the car since he got it 1.5 years ago... Sad to see this happen though!

I didn't get the car back till July last year and the car hit the fan about 2 months ago. That's a total of 10 months and less than 5k miles. The car was not tracked or beaten on. I was also always very **** about the oil and had it changed every 1k miles. In fact, the last time I had it changed was two weeks before this happened.

We're not 100% if it's a blown motor yet, but hopefully we'll have an answer soon.
