It's going to be a paradigm shift in terms of how these cars behave. Gone is the instant low end trq (tire smoking) that the DE was known for. Now you have an nice smooth, and linear power band, with a flat-as-a-pancake trq curve, and power building, convincingly to redline.

Wow wonder if I can get NNA to pay for the turbo and full build on my NISMO? That was a joke for all who might flame... I want to boost it sooo bad but with 600+ car payments it wont be for awhile.

That would be a wet dream from the Nissan engineers that probably wanted to do that all along...until the bean counters killed the idea.

yeah it's kinda like when I come up with all these dreams of things I want on my car and then Sharif smashes them back to reality when I find out how much they cost.

I heard that JWT has a Clutch for the HR.

Any other options? Is the JWT a good option?

its my understanding that the JWT clutch is only slightly stronger than stock. I have the Competition Stage 4 clutch that I got when turbos were installed. Its pretty streetable.

^Thats a good choice if you're on a budget of some sort. I'd go for the Carbonetic triple (or alternatively the Exedy double/triple) if you have the coin for it.

JWT has one ready to go. They have a couple different friction materials, so I can ask Jim to give us one that will hold the beast. Exedy also has one available as well.

If you can hold out, what I suggest is waiting until Carbonetic wraps up their triple. It will be the last clutch you ever buy, and will hold 800whp+

Any indication of timelines from Carbonetic for production?

I didn't think there was a difference in clutches with the hr and de? That isn't a healthy addition to this thread, but I am a noob to clutch/flywheel combos.
