Arrow AAM HR Twin Turbo Kit : 507whp@10.5psi

After purchasing his Nismo Z a couple years back, Shane had one goal in mind: Twin Turbo his Nismo!
Unfortunately, his particular Nismo HR came to us after sitting for 1 arduous year at another shop waiting for a custom HR Twin turbo Kit (non-vq shop, non forum related). After our inspection of the vehicle, we realized we would only be able to salvage the turbos, tial bovs, misc fittings, and intercooler core from the original attempt at twin turboing this HR Z. The fuel system was plumbed incorrectly, the vehicle had no engine management, incomplete coolant lines, missing bolts from the turbine/compressor housings, and on and on and on!.

So we stripped the kit, and started from scratch. Along the way our customer added engine management, knock amp, and 3" turbo back exhaust.

The end result, another strong showing from the HR motor! And one very relieved customer. (Thanks Shane )

Build Details:

Stock Block HR
AAM HR Twin Turbo Kit (2860RS)
AAM 3" True Dual Exhaust
AAM 3" Catted Downpipes
AAM HR Basic Fuel Return System
HKS F-Con V Pro
HKS EVC VI
HKS Knock Amp
JWT HR Clutch & Flywheel
Tial BOV's
Autometer Nexus Gauges

Very nice! Is the engine built? Or is it safe to run that much boost on the HR?

Stock block - We've got a couple running around at 475~490 with no issues so far (1+ year).

I never get tired of Nismo Z33s in the shop. I'll see if I can post up the video I recorded while this car was on the Dyno.

Here's a link to another HR Twin Turbo we completed. Video is on the first page of the build.

I see you guys are going with the JWT HR clutch and flywheel on a couple cars. Is this same as the combo deal that a lot of the vendors are selling?

Also, how many miles are on Shanes Nismo? (before TT)
