That intake manifold definitely looks great and I want to see the final product.

It looks like it's headed in the right direction.

who sells red wrinkle finish spray cans? I tried finding it, and it was next to impossible when I sprayed my valve covers. I ended up using a red gloss engine enamel on my valve covers.

thanks had the plate since 2003 or 2004... it used to be on my 416fwhp pump gas 94 civic... once i sold the civic i transferred the plates to the Z in 2005 or so. people on the road get a kick, i am asked about it regularly at stop lights when i drive the 350z.

finished the fuel system plumbing today, so updated sec6. next week or maybe even this week I will drop the twin pump into the tank and wire it up.

turbo oil line parts are supposed to be here thursday now... once i can do that and start building the turbo section here, the car will be getting very close to being able to start.

nice updates charles!

I like the idea of putting the MVS wastegates up high. since they are v-band, it makes them easy to get on an off. The old 37mm WGs were tough to get to and had to be removed to get to the tranny off during a clutch swap. I think that's why the "low" WG relocation was so popular......but I would prefer not to have my WGs hanging so low.

thanks

just added a pic of the wastegate adapters for putting them back up high.

got a TON done today... finished up all the engine bay wiring and key on'd the car to check everything, since about 90% of the wires in my harness have been cut and shorten, and I wanted to see the throttle body opening and closing on the intake mani lol.

i have the plenum top completely bolted and torqued down, the charge pipes are allllmost all done. tomorrow im putting in the wastegates and downpipes for final install, and i will start working on the wastegate dump tubes.

my new oil cooler is here so I am hoping to mount that maybe over the weekend... because once thats in, i just have to connect some oil lines to it and the car will start.

the last thing ill have to finish are my new coolant pipes, and that will be cake.

ok so im probably forgetting a ton of ****... but either way, massive picture update coming this weekend.

just saw your new wastegate adapters......

did you need to back purge the tubing when you welded it or was the WG v-band flange thick enough that you didn't have to worry about sugaring on the backside of the weld?
