Hey, the master nissan tech! Mine are great, thanks for asking! They are not stock and have been holding down over 1k HP....

We won't be back on the dyno for a couple weeks. I have a lot of projects I need to finish that come before the car.

i want to make note here: the wastegates use open dumps under the car, and i can imagine that a majority of the 'smoke' is exhaust from them being brought up through the engine bay since we have a million fans going at once blowing crap all over the place :P

I heard this car ran 12.8 in the 1/4 with street tires what was the trap speed and 60' time?

Any more pictures? What wheels are those?

well, you also have to take into account the driver. not knocking him, but i don't think drag racing is his forte. hell, the first time i ever took a bike down the track i was 18 and scared shitless and i ran a 23.X @ 66mph HAHAHAHAHAHAHA pretty low mph for a ZX-9.

*edit: it was my buddy's bike, btw, and he ran 9.88s with it... i got it whittled down to an 11-something after a few passes, and that was fast enough for me without having doors for protection lol

But its not like he got out of it, like you apparently did on the bike. There is also a difference between a 16yearold on a bike and a guy that (says) he tracks the car.

When he essentially let up like your talking about he ran a 13.1 @ 114

Yes but I would rather him be there to make sure everything is good before the pull and in the event we decide to go for more power.

We have been tied up making other modifications to the car in a continuing effort to make sure it's prepared for next season.

Hopefully in the next month or so we will do another glory pull.

Good news for all the HR/VHR people though, zspeed released a aftermarket salve cylinder for our transmissions and we will be installing it tomorrow! Since our slaves are know to blow quite often (I am on my 3rd), this is an important upgrade if you run an aftermarket clutch on these transmissions.
