Default S&R Performance : GamerModz NISMO 350Z 1,000HP Race Car

Here is the video of the 1,013 whp pull w/slip.

Everyone wanted to see it, so here it is!

This was made possible by the best in the business.

S&R Performance did the work.

Taylor Durdan built the motor complete with his signature piston artwork.

Douglas Wilks from TopSpeed in GA with his unsurpassable tuning abilities.

Greddy for their many, high quality parts.

TurboSmart for their turbo accessories.

Boostlab for their superior turbo work.

What happened to the other thread? and this post

The problem is the noise from the engine and rollers creates problems for the drive, the fix is to put a solid state drive in it. This also explains the low RPM. The redline on this engine is 8500 RPM.

I talked to owner and we are going down the street and test the car on a Dynojet.

The twin turbo greddy kit was a sponsor kit for the car. Kirk at Boost lab bored them out to a 60-1 which means more lag, but only by 1000k and when you have a redline of 8500…problem solved 

I like to apologize for any misunderstandings.

whoa...there's been a rift in the space-time continuum.

There was no need to delete it. The explanation was better than the coverup.

I actually deleted it. There was way too much BS in there and too much mud flinging. Not worth the time to keep up with it and try and answer all of the stuff swirling around it.

Here is the video. We are going to see about getting the car on a Dyno Jet so that we can put all of the non-sense to rest. I don't know how much I personally buy the stuff that the guy from the dyno company said about the slip/misread number up top. We'll see what happens on the next dyno.

Over all, we're very happy with the outcome. It's FAST, it screams and our customer is happy. We've satisfied the sponsors for the build, too.

I was in the middle of putting together a bad *** video with this butfigured after all the BS, I should throw this up temporarily.

It's funny, I thought the video captured everyone that was there but you only see about half of the people. Hell, you don't even see me!

It's funny seeing Marti's mood swing though!

Congrats.

just two things:

1-Was the run too short (or is it just me)

2-why there is smoke coming from the engine bay after he let go the gas, leak?

The run was full, it just rips through 4th gear quickly. He went 1st gear, 2nd, 4th, then put the pedal to the floor. This is why it took a few to get that gear rolling. It takes a few for any motor to go from 1k rpms in 4th up to a point where it's making power.

As far as the "smoke" from the engine bay when he let off, I would assume it's a mixture of things. It's blowing out almost 30PSI from two blow off valves. It could be excess fuel OR ventalated crank case pressure. It could definately be fuel since rev limiter is set to do ignition cut instead of fuel cut.

Not really sure though but as you can see, it was being watched very carefully.

/\/\/\ you are going to get blow-by at anything above about 15psi no matter what....when you let off the oil pressure has to go somewhere.....so its a combo of crankcase pressure, and oil getting passed the inlet wheels and being sent into motor as well.....

Just run a really good catch can setup, vented properly and that will get rid of 95% of it.

The fabricator at S&R is making a big *** catch can to go when the battery is. Should be plenty...

Still work to do on the car before it's ready!

The volume of a plenum is in porportion to the displacement of the motor. This plenum was designed for 4.2L.

It has been discussed to design one for the 3.5L HR but no set plans yet. The prototype for the 3.5L displacement was put on hold as well.

If that changes, S&R will let everyone know.

No, not last night. This whole thing with the dynosheet was just determined last night. It will be either late this week or mid next.

I have to take it down to S&R to put the other fuel hat and pump in which means running another fuel and then we have to drain the tanks and fill it with Q16.

it is something we're going to try to get done soon, just bear with us. We're very busy but we'll try to make that happen, soon.
