Sick build. I always liked the progression of your ride. I hope you get to drive it soon!

496/369 is what it reads. They started with the biggest pulley working the car up to the smaller pulleys for more boost.

Can't wait to see what it can do with a smaller pulley! Are you running meth or just water?

Great results with the largest pulley.

Any reason why Sam does 4th gear pulls instead of 5th? I thought 5th gear one to one.

What are the SAE dynojet results with the largest pulley?

He said pulls on 4th gears are more consistent, but 5th gear is 1:1.

Here is a comparison of 4th gear to 5th gear from when my car first went to GTM with cats on.

It's hard to say what the SAE will be since he didn't include the run condition on here.

Thank you for the explanation. Your car will be a beast once Sam is done with it.

I'm liking how the power keeps climbing all the way to 7500 and the tq stays very flat.

Attached is the dyno graph from the run in the video. It's a very safe tune and the main focus for this was to break in the supercharger and get the car up and running stably. Once the final pulley goes on there a more in depth tune will be done to make sure we don't leave too much on the table.

that's awesome, can only imagine what that feels like, I'm currently sitting at around 400/320 and I'm loving it, on the edge of being scary though.

To be honest, this supercharger is doing more than I expected, i like that you are making power to 7500, actually getting a use out of that nice rotating assembly!

But for people thinking they want to put this on their stock de motors and mke this kinda power, they are going to be sorely disappointed...

Thanks, project looks like it's going well. Hopefully it gets wrap up with a cherry on top.

Thanks, so far so good

I think at worst this kit will perform slightly better than a vortech with the same boost on a stock motor, but there is no doubt that my results will be drastically different from a normal DE. GTM does plan to put this kit on a virgin DE and post some results.

From what you've seen what would you think a reasonable expectation of output from this kit on a stock DE? I know nothing like this build but I think the goal of this kit was a greater potential for future growth like most of the turbo kits enjoy.
Still very interested to see the results of this kit on a virgin DE...

Yeah, that was the intention all along. Should be available by this year i'm assuming.

They actually have 4 levels. I have their first stage3 (regardless of platform) which will be available shortly i believe. If all stays true then the differences between the stages are as follow and are related mainly to the blower and intake setup.
Stage1: C38-81 (3" intake) blower with intake in the bumper
Stage1.5: C38-81 (3" intake) blower with GTM housing & intake running towards the back
Stage2: C38-91 (3" intake) blower with GTM housing & intake running towards the back
Stage3: C38-92 (3.5" intake) blower with GTM housing & billet velocity stack intake running towards the back

I'm pretty savvy to what Rotrex/HKS Superchargers are available. I just don't see the the C38 worth the extra money on a unbuilt motor. However I see the innovation of the GTM unit if you wanted to grow... similar to how they've handled their turbo kits.

Wow man that's a crazy... Too bad I'll be your "competition" with my HKS kit but that line up is pretty solid.

Haha, the only rivals are the turbos, we are on the same boat brother! How is your build going btw, i'm anxious to see how that newer HKS blower does. On paper and from the results AA has, the HKS units is definitely a great blower. I think two of the reasons GTM didn't go with it is because the highly unfavorable exchange rate (GTS8550 ~ $3400, C38-91 ~ $2600) and the fact that HKS has pulled out of the US market leaving the support thru japan.

I was just looking at the 8555 blower you are using and i was surprised as to how small the inlet is, it's 70mm. Other than that the two blowers should be reasonably interchangeable with some work of course.

I hear ya. I just assumed when I saw "Turn Key" kits, especially outfitted with a basic fuel systen...the parts of which usually already exist on any built DE, the intentions were for at least the stage one to be bolted on to a stock DE...with room to grow of course. I do think it is somewhat misleading how they list the HP ratings of the kits but I suppose anyone savvy in the FI game will understand the difference between expected HP and maximum potential HP.
