Default 04' Limited Edition G35 coupe wheels !! VERY RARE *PICS*

The wheels are off my 2004.5 G35 coupe and have been driven on less that 700 miles.

I was gonna use these wheels for Hot Import Night in Atlantic City but I have a big project lined up and need capital.

These wheels are rare and you will probably never see them again.

Custom finished wheels ( ONE OF A KIND)

These wheels are not chrome or painted chrome....THEY ARE HAND POLISHED TO A MIRROR FINISH !!!

The wheels will not chip or crack and can always be touched up if scratched.

need to let them go...if interested e-mail or pm

chrome is a coating these are not chrome

chrome makes the wheels extremely heavy and they chip and crack easily

these are high polished aluminum.....basically the stock paint was stripped off the face and buffed to a high mirror finish.

the inside of the wheel is still the stock paint...only the face of the wheel is high polished...that cant be done with chrome.

if the wheels get scratched it can be buffed out without taking the tire off and will look perfect again

the pictures cant capture the look they have in person...it looks chrome but its not...

sorry but I was only using my hand in the picture so you can see its reflection...Im not sellng it

on a serious note the amount of labor put into polishing a wheel like this can not be converted into monetary value.

the professional that did my wheels did these as a favor for a favor and he took his time and pride to make them come out as well as they did.

you can go somewhere else to do the same thing and they will ruin your wheels and by the way the paint on these wheels are of a lead base which makes them more difficult to work with.

the wheels were custom for an auto show...to showcase something different than your typical OEM wheel or chrome alternative...these have the best of both worlds

the wheels are for sale because Im sorta in a bind with a project that will need more capital than anticipated

Very nice. I prefer polished aluminum over chrome as well.

Were these wheels clearcoated after they were polished?

once you clearcoat them they loose their brilliance and look hazy with a yellow film

also the only thing polished is the outside face of the wheels making it very easy to hit up with some aluminum polish and make them shine better than chrome.

these wheels are very low maintenance and they will look brilliant for as long as you own the car.

This pic is of my HRE 547 in polished aluminum without clearcoat....they are not CHROME !!!!...I had to hit these up with polish about twice a month.

here is the wheel test fitted on the car *close-up*

My other car has factory polished aluminum wheels that are clearcoated, and I've never had that problem. They probably aren't quite as "brilliant" as they would be without the clearcoat, but they were still shiny and you use the same wax as you would on the rest of the car.

you are absolutely correct and that is what I wondered also but if you ask HRE how many people get their polished wheels clearcoated less than 5%

if you chip the clear coat that part of the wheel would need to be recoated. The uncoated wheel will just be buffed out and re-polished

clear-coat doesnt hold well on polished finish

its like have an old silver spoon and polishing with a cream and it comes out looking better than new....same with this type of finish....no matter how old or beat up you can make it look brand new.
