Doing a suspension overhaul on my Z. Got some new ball joints from CZP.

Got the new bushings pressed in and ready to go, but I'm stumped on one part.

what is this little plastic seat? Do I remove it? Do I press it into the booth?

my old ball joint doesn't seem to have this piece.

 

Never mind! Figured it out.

plastic piece is there too protect the threads in shipping. Not needed.
