Default Does anyone have recent experience with insurance on hail damaged Z?

wondering if anyone has experience with having their Z damaged from hail on whatever it may be and how much I may be looking at getting if they consider it totaled . I know there's many factors such as the company, the estimator , possibly different states/regions etc. had a hail storm come through Omaha on the 29th of June and my 2003 touring got considerable amounts of dents on the hood, roof, hatch, a few even on fenders /quarter panels . The body shop i just used to fix some rust told me it's definitely totaled in his opinion but it's all up to State Farm . Does anyone have advice or experience on having this sort of thing happen?

If they are saying totaled, its prob is. Nobody on here will be able to tell you because we cannot see the car, most dont work in body shop, do pdr, or are insurance adjusters

I know, i wasn't asking to tell me if it's totaled , maybe my wording was confusing , mainly asking for people who have had experience with insurance /total losses on their cars , not just random comments saying sorry no one can tell you

If they total it, you can buy it back and drive around in a car that looks like a fat strippers ***......all hail damaged

i have experience. Car was hit, brought it to the shop the insurance company told me to go to, adjuster estimated the damage. The insurance company, at its own discretion, will make the decision on whether or not it is worth to fix. Call your insurance company and ask them, you're not going to get any info worthwhile here.
