Will these fit?
I bought new rims for my 07 350z and I'm not sure what to believe if they'll fit or not. I've got my friend saying yeah all I need are spacers, and then my uncle saying it's too big and itll rub on the sidewall of the tire.
Heres the rims specs:
19x8.5, 5x114.3 offset 40
I know theoffset is ridiculously high and we test fitted the rim, it fits good just by itself when we raised the car and everything, it's just not flush. It's more inside the wheel well. I was thinking why not get 25mm spacers all around so its 1 inch for the whole car and then itll be flush or close enough.
I dont see why it wouldnt fit cause people run 20s on their z's just fine so ??

Yes, you'll need to run 20-25mm spacers to get 8.5s out closer to the lip.

I strongly suggest you do some research in the tire & wheel section before you buy another set. Offset is everything.

Yeah it can get confusing. There are a few cars that use the 114.3 bolt pattern and the 40mm offset will look and work great on those vehicles.
The biggest problem is going to be the 19x8.5”. You purchased a taller wheel that doesn’t really give you any more rubber touching the road than stock. I don’t remember anybody putting that size wheel on a Z before - It may look kinda odd.
Konig is a decent wheel brand (at least imo, others may disagree) so that’s a plus.
I REALLY, REALLY recommend you read the 100 Most Commonly Asked Questions thread that’s stickied above the forum posts. There is tons of excellent info about wheels, offsets, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.

What I dont understand is people like my uncle saying it's too big and the tire will rub on the sidewall, when theres people who run 20s on their 350, and ontop of that they lower their car.

They will look so mint with some 225/40/19s
