Default $1200 to spend

I have about $1200 to spend after Christmas. I need an alarm b/c last weekend my car got keyed (80%) of the car. That shouldnt cost that much. What kind of alarm do you guys like, and what else could I do with the rest of the money. All performance please. Thanks

EHHHHHHH if you want an alarm then get one, but that wont stop keying in the future. thats what insurance is for!!! it also depends if you are installing yourself or having parts put on. if you got $1200 to spend on parts alone, i would get a popcharger, motordyne 5/16 iso thermal spacer and the 3.9 final drive set form z1 thats $500, not the 350evo gear set. that should actually leave you with about 200-300 depending on prices and shipping. thats what i would do with 1200.

check this thread

z1 is selling a 3.9 final drive kit for $500 as opposed to the 350evo 3.9 that costs $800+. this mod alone will wake the z up tremendously. i have not seen it or riden in one, but i have ridden in a viper that i put 3.73 fd gears in (stock fd in a viper is 3.07) THE CAR COMES ALIVE!!!!

you fuel consumption will increase slightly due to this mod however. this gear set is definately on my wish list!!!!!

FYI, you have to have a 6mt or at least the 6mt pumpkin to be able to utilize a 3.9 final drive modification.
