Alright, the weekend is looking nice according to the forecast (70 and Sunny). Anyone up for a little unofficial get together and cruise? I set one up like this a year or so ago and the turn out was decent, and it was good times.

If we can get a good number of people interested let's do the following:

**Meet at Bailey's Pub & Grill Parking Lot (located at the Patrick Henry Mall, Newport News) @ 1pm

**130-145pm We'll head out down Jefferson Ave, and through the Yorktown where we will jump on Colonial Parkway and stop for lunch and drinks at Hooters in Williamsburg.

Looks like fun. I'll be down there @ DTP with some friends that Saturday, and I think we're staying the night and heading back to central VA Sunday morning/afternoon. What time are you guys getting together and whats the route look like?

 

Man...Im in Richmond this weekend...down from DC. I usually leave earlym but traffic is bad no matter what hour you try to slice it.

Maybe I can get down there. I used to live in Kiln Creek, right across the street when I was in the AF stationed at Langley in the late 90's.

I know Yorktown has some niiiiiice roads.

Whats the traffic like coming East Bound from Richmond? I know that usually going west is jacked from the weekend Beach Traffic, but how much time do I need to drive there from Richmond in order to meet you all buy 1pm?

I have visited that Hooters a few times also.

Tony Romas used to be the shizzil too bad it burned down. I was sick when I went there and it was gone!!!

 

I talked to Doobie "DOOBIEZ" and he's up for this as well. If not a whole lot are interested, we may end up going to a Nissan meet thats taking place at Mount Trashmore. From the looks of it, it's primarily 240's but if this Z gathering is a wash....we'll be heading out there instead.

 

I might be late, but i'll be there.

Im down in Richmond from DC for the weekend. Not to up on the traffic. Is an hour enough time?

 

from richmond it should take 45 mins to get to the location

 

Sweet. I was worried about traffic. From Richmond to DC (80 miles) its an 4 hour drive if you leave after 1pm.

I guess the turn out will be decent so this meet is still on for tomorrow guys. Try to arrive as close to 1 as possible as we will be leaving at about 130-145 to head out.

Again, this is an un-official meet so don't expect anything well planned. Just a gathering with other enthusiasts.
