Pants ruined. Moving on.

Anyone have a recommendation of tires that come in 255/35 and 285/35 for a daily driver?
I won't run BFG KDWs due to noise...any other suggestions are welcome.
Currently considering RE050A Pole Positions and the usual PS2 (though it's too much $$).
I thought about Invos, although I don't really know how these tires are so don't know if I trust them. They seem to be very budget tires and my experience with NT05s leaves me with no confidence in Nitto, reviews aren't encouraging either...
Also anyone have any experience with Ventus V12 evo K110s? They seem to be very promising tires.

I have those currently on my OEM wheels, decent tire, but not value enough for me to pick them over the RE050s. Thanks for your input though!

I'm running Kumho Ecsta SPT's in those size. Coming from KDW2 the noise was a lot better but there are still some noise.

What offset are these wheels?
Are the front and backs the same rim width?

Hey guys, please excuse my noobness! What kind of neg. camber numbers are people running with 19x11 setups in the rear?
I'm coming from the s2000 world where its not uncommon to see -2.5 degrees or more just to get a 9" wide wheel to fit with a 255 tire
I love the deep dish look!! I want to see what the widest possible tire (hopefully a 315/25) I can fit on a 19x11 -17 offset wheel without going to low on the camber. Of course cutting and rolling the fenders is manditory.

Thanks in advance

James

Are you serious right now? With a 19x11 -17 wheel you will be damn lucky for it to fit with a 255 on it with rolled fenders and -3 degrees or more of negative camber.

Reference this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...lcome-199.html

If you want a 315 with a 19x11, you will need to be at least in the mid-high teens in offset. While the Z has much more aggressive offsets and allows much wider widths than say, an S2000, it still has limits if you expect if not to look retarded and actually be able to drive it.

Take for instance I have a 20x11 iForged rear wheel with 295/25/20. I could fit a 315x30x20 on my wheel, but my offset is around +25. Your proposed setup isn't even close to working unless you have a widebody or enjoy looking like a low rider, in which case you have no need for a 315.

Hey thanks for your input. I WAS serious until I spoke to a guy with a XX x 11 -16 offset who is running a -6.5 camber with stretched tires.

My goal is really the 6" lip, not to be running ultra low offsets just for the hell of it. I also HATE the stretched tires look. To me an 11" wheel needs an 11" tire

I've done some more detailed research and will be looking at other designs that might be able to accomplish the lip depth I want.

Please ignore my previous dumbness lol

LOL

That was my point, entirely impossible unless you have a widebody. It wouldn't even be close. You can probably get close to a 6" lip though, but probably won't be able to get a 315 on it unless the spoke design gives it what I would consider a phantom lip, where the spokes dive inward towards the rim barrel (which I'm not personally a fan of). A more realistic goal would probably be in the 5-5.5" range on most wheel designs if you're still trying to fit massive rubber on there. I think I have a 5" lip (I would have to double check) and my setup isn't as aggressive as it could be, but like I said max I could run would probably be a 315/30/20, which would correlate pretty closely to a 315/35/19.

Your best best will be to pick up a Z and plug in the current wheels into an offset calculator and go out and measure. Most fitments have already been attempted on the Z given it's been out now for a good 6+ years.

Hey there fellow 350z Owners!!

It's time for some new tires over here!!

I have some AME Circlar Spec-R's right now in Custom offsets...

19 x 9 +10 (Front)
&
19 x 10 +0 (Rear)

The tires I am currently running are 245/35-19 Front and a 275/30-19 Rear... (Stock Height)

I was looking for some advice as to how WIDE and TALL of a tire you all think I could put up on Stock Height...

I am going to also buy that Fender Rolling tool that costs around $240 (I allready have an Industrial Heat Gun) so I could attempt to roll the fenders... I have been wanting to roll them ever since i have started to run the 275/30's in the rear I get a little rub on the inside of the rear fenders... ON REALLY HARD FAST BUMPS ONLY... Mind you! LOL

You gotta be going like 60 or so... and really rock a big *** bump or dip in the road that sends the car all over hell just to get it to rub...

ANYWAY...

I know you guys have a lot of experience dealing with aggro wheel and tire setups and was wondering what you could contribute...

I was thinking about going *MAX 255/35-19* (Front) (unless you all have a better suggestion) and perhaps a 285/35-19 in the rear on a set of NITTO Invos...(Unless you all have a better suggestion)

Do you all think I should go 285/30? or would a 295/30 be good back there aswell.. I was trying to keep the sizes proportional to the stock tire sizes... however; I do not mind keeping a 30 series in the rear...

What do you all think..?

Any comment regardless of its positive or negative connotation or advice is greatly appreciated...

Thanks...!

It's not that, it's the ridiculous wheel gap that caught my eye really.
