Some pics from California trip
I recently went home to sunny Southern California. Actually, it wasn't all that sunny, it rained a fair amount. However, as you'll be able to see, in So-Cal, even when it's raining, the sun still comes out intermittently.
Here are some pics, in no particular order. Some actually relate to the Z, most do not.
I live in PV, nicely situated pretty near the ocean. This pic is from the view point on Hawthorne and is looking south.

Nearby is Torrance, which is the home of Del Amo, once the largest mall in America. It's long been surpassed, but it's still a nice place to do some shopping.
What's more patriotic than malls and Corvette's?

Oh, I almost forgot, for the fellow plane guys out there, here's a shot of a An-124 I saw at Bradley International airport, located in Hartford, CT.
What the heck is an Antonov doing in Hartford?
Look at how many wheels the monster has.

There are LOTS of nice cars in LA. I only saw one Z in almost a week of driving around LA. I was pretty surprised.
Here's a nice Carrera 4S. Nice pipes, they're not stock are they?

I was pretty lucky to get this pic. My digital camera has that typical delay between pushing the shutter release and actually taking the picture. The timing was perfect.
Obviously, a Ferrari in front, a Rolls behind it, a nice house behind that.
This is Paseo Del Mar, an EXCELLENT street in Palos Verdes Estates. There's an awesome stretch of homes, each one better than the next, facing a cliff overlooking the Pacific. I think the people on the street all got a case of "keep up with the Jones" or maybe just outdo them because the homes are all pretty amazing.

You gotta love the beaches in LA. My personal favorite is Hermosa, mainly because it's typically packed with people. Like I mentioned earlier, it rained a lot while I was home and it was pretty cold (for CA), around 50-60, so there weren't many people on the beach.
This is from the Hermosa Pier.

Finally, something Z related. Because of the weather, there are plenty of older cars, many in very good condition. I came about this one during my travels. You may recognize it.
Scafremon's old stomping grounds.
Now, imagine taking this pic while driving 80mph down the 110, with your mom in the passenger seat wondering what they hell you're doing and telling you to keep both hands on the wheel.

im from PV, nice shots.. you shoulda taken some shots of your Z by the Ocean Trails golf course (Donald Trump is trying to buy it).. the Z fits right in among all the porsches, bmws, and benz's up there.. except the Z is cheap in comparison..
LBC TRD - unfortunately, my Z, and myself, are currently in Connecticut, where there's even more snow than in the above NJ pic.
Yes, Ocean Trails is a pretty nice place. I have a few pics from there of a storm rolling in on the ocean. There are a bunch of nice cars there.
