Only 171 350Zs are affected by the recall. The rest are mainly the Sentras, Altimas etc.

OK, whose Zs? Announce a recall is coming and then say you will be notified in a couple of months if your car is one of them. No injuries yet, but lets wait until one of the 171 stalls on the freeway. And how about the other models, notices haven't been sent to all of them?

Huh? I'm not sure what your point is. Those 171 will be notified. December is only a few weeks away. If you've looked at recalls by Nissan and other car companies, the procedure and lag time is fairly normal. I had a different recall on my 02 Maxima before and couldn't get the work done immediately because the dealer was waiting on parts.

I'm 99.9% sure my 02 Maxima is included (info is up on NHTSA's site now) but it isn't December yet so I haven't received my notice yet.

171 Zs is very low % out of all the ones that have been sold.

Forget it, I'm really angry with Nissan.

My 98 Camry has had two recalls, including one due to the possibility that the steering wheel could come loose. I guess that's why Toyota has such a bad reputation for quality.

Recalls happen.
