Konis are here!!!!
I was the #2 person on the list so I believe I am, BUT BJ is at a wedding so I didin't get a tracking number for UPS. They should be here today or on Monday. BUt you never know till the brown truck arrives.
JMark:
Thanks for keeping the story straight. It is production not equal to demand. One factor will be "summer holiday" and workers being away.
Here are some Pictures

I recieved my shocks from the second batch to ship from BJ on Monday afternoon but had to work a 12hr shift last night. I got them all installed this morning, review to follow. It's raining here so it will just be a ride quality checkout for now.
Seems to have taken along time to get them produced. I guess they were conservative on their demand factor. Problem is the OEM shocks are so bad that most owners are seeking improvement.

I sure hope so. I have 3000 miles on new NNA purchased tires.
The front alignment set by Nissan was measured at 1/8"
We reset the front tow to a fat 1/16" ( 5/64th ) or the decimal equivalent.
The Struts of the Koni Brand, do not feel like they are coming up through the dash board like the O.E.M.
And the car does not bounce or porpose.
I had the car carefully aligned last friday.
Front Toe .07
Rear Toe .08
Front Camber -1.3
Rear Camber -2
Front Camber is 10
I'll know better in a few thousand miles.
Cheers Amy

I brlieve my font tires are quieting down after the shock change, but I am not sure if the shocks are just transmitting less noise to the body or the tires are flattening back to smooth. I will research the Idea that a too stiff of rebound was skipping the tires off the road causing the feathering, just a thought.?

The oem shocks do not have too much rebound. Koni's solution was to offer less compression dampning then oem and allow you to dial in more rebound as you choose. In a perfect world the oem shocks would have the ability to up their rebound control,....sigh.

Is your car a better daily driver, and are you happy?
ky350, yes I'm, I've to say it was a lot cheaper investment then getting coilovers. And it had very positive improvement on the way the car handles.
I'm also starting to think that the bounce is gone, I've took the car through couple of corners which I know unsettle the z a lot. The car used to start to understeer a lot once I hit few bumps in the corners and I lost a lot of response from the steering input. To my surprise when I took the corners today the car stayed glued to the road as if it has been on rails, I couldn't feel the bumps through the seat of my pants any more, but I could feel the suspension was doing it's job through the steering (if it makes any sense). I feel like I can take these corners now a lot faster then I could have before. So, for now I think that the bounce is gone, this are slow corners so I'm going have to wait for weekend when I can fully test it at high speed.
I've noticed one more positive thing about the change, a lot of the noise from tire feathering seems to be gone, it still there, but it's not as loud. I'll be checking the tires often to see if they get worse or better
