Does any one has a paint code for 2006 wheels?
Or you might know a place where I can get the paint.
Will the duplicolor silver wheel paint be close enough matched?
Thanks

Less than 2000 mi. and it looks like the finish is rubbing through in spots. Only washed them about 30 times with microfiber cloth and no wheel cleaners. Love the wheels I think they really look *****in'. I am interested in any info on what paint is on the wheels also.

I personally havent found a good touchup paint yet for the wheels...
problem is, its not really a paint... Its more a powdercoat finish... hard to doubplicate the look with just a touchup paint...

interested in this also as I will be painting a set of 06 wheels to the original color.
all i can tell you is the paint on them is extremely thin as a little buffing went right through to the black primer.
since I have 2 sets of the 06 wheels one will be painted stock color other one I am not sure yet, blue, gold, gunmetal...

I also heard about the scratch fix 2 in 1 paint from GM.
Color NG GM 508 (GM ultra silver). I never tried either one but at least it's a shot. Good Luck!

Somebody is going to have to go out and buy a ****-load of silver touch-up paints and give them a try to find something that comes close.

there is no touchup paint thats going to match because the wheels have a special finish. Its a black basecoat with a translucent silver topcoat which is why you don't see the metallic flakes like other silver wheels. Its almost impossible to match these.

Just in case someone is still looking for this info.
The color is basically the same as BMW's Bright Silver A54 wheel paint color with a gloss clear coat. A Very bright fine metallic particulate silver basecoat.
In powder coat ot is equivalent to Prismatic Shreded Silver, code PMB-1551. with a gloss clear coat.
A bright silver with a heavy metallic flake.
